DENTAID Technology Hyaluronrepair^® is a clinically proven technology based on the incorporation of hyaluronic acid, a component that is naturally present in the tissues of the oral mucosa. Its presence in the new Perio·Aid^® Bioadhesive Gel allows formation of a protective layer that favours rapid regeneration and repair of damaged tissues

The innovative DENTAID Technology Hyaluronrepair^® together with the exclusive formulation of Perio·Aid^® Bioadhesive Gel, provide multiple actions: 

Antiseptic action 

The incorporation of 0.20% chlorhexidine in the formulation of Perio·Aid^® Bioadhesive Gel provides an antiseptic effect protecting damaged tissues, preventing the build-up of oral biofilm, and reducing the risk of bacterial infections. 

Regenerative action 

Thanks to the exclusive DENTAID Technology Hyaluronrepair^® with hyaluronic acid, a protective layer is formed on the affected tissues, promoting the regeneration of the gums and of the damaged oral mucosa. 

Repairing/healing action 

Perio·Aid^® Bioadhesive Gel favours healing of the tissues intervened. Anti-inflammatory action The incorporation of panthenol in the formulation, together with hyaluronic acid, confers anti-inflammatory properties, accelerating the post-surgical healing process. 

Long-lasting bioadhesive action 

After an intervention in the oral cavity with damage to the gums or oral mucosa, the use of a product with adhesive capacity is essential to protect the tissues affected, prevent infections and aid in their recovery. 

The topical application of a product in the area to be treated is more effective the longer the active ingredient remains in contact, so it is important that the formulation incorporates substances that favour adhesion to the mucosa. 

The formulation of Perio·Aid^® Bioadhesive Gel is based on a system of polymers including hydroxyethylcellulose and hyaluronic acid, which form a protective film on the oral mucosa and provide bioadhesive action. 

The use of this muco-adhesive formula increases the length of time the active ingredients are in contact with the affected area, offering prolonged action.
