Aula DENTAID, the DENTAID training division, is launching new courses intended for dental professionals in different countries during the months of April, May and June. 

SPAIN 

With the title Update in children’s dentistry: how to prevent oral disease from childhood to adolescence, the 17-course training program will cover the factors that can affect children’s oral health at the different stages of growth, as well as the dental care they need during each phase. 

Subjects like the main oral pathologies that may appear during childhood, with special emphasis on tooth decay, will be discussed, and there will be blocks explaining the guidelines on how to act in case of dental trauma or to prevent dental malocclusion. 

In addition, techniques to control children’s behaviour in the dental clinic and oral hygiene recommendations for the prevention of various oral diseases will be addressed. 

COLOMBIA 

Two courses were held, in Medellín and Bogotá, on the subject of Technological Advances in periodontal health, which addressed issues such as the effect of antiseptics on oral microbiota, nanotechnology in the oral cavity, the relationship between oral and general health, and the aetiology, diagnosis and maintenance of implants. 

GERMANY 

Courses will be offered in seven cities under the title Prevention of oral disease and the relationship with systemic diseases, which will address how to prevent the onset of the main oral pathologies and their control and treatment at the dental clinic and in the patient's home. 

ITALY 

A course on Outpatient control and management of dental biofilm was held in the city of Naples, explaining the point of view of the dentist and the hygienist on how to control biofilm at each stage of periodontal therapy, both at the dental clinic and in the patient’s home. 

PORTUGAL 

There will be two sessions in Peniche and Amadora on two different subjects: Nanoparticles in oral hygiene and Periodontal disease: diagnosis and treatment.
